Passenger seat foot rest
I have an 99 C.C. Intrigue. The recliner foot rest worked fine and then just quit extending. It is now partially extended about six inches and will not return. I can feel the motor torque when I operate the switch up or down. Can not see any obstructions. Solutions??

Your coach passenger seat has a power foot rest, is there the name Flexsteel anywhere on the seat ? Probably on the armrest.
I spend 5 months in the Parker area every winter. I'll arrive Nov.1, this year, if you haven't got it fixed by then maybe we can get together and figure it out.

Can you disconnect the motor to see if the mechanism moves freely, and bench test the motor?
DW's seat is manual W/lever, but there may be similarities, can you post a picture .
Info on posting pictures, is in the " FAQ " drop bow, in the blue bar under your welcome message.

Mine is doing almost the same thing, foot rest is retracted and doesn't go out. Can hear motor running. got on floor with flashlight and looks like there is a worm gear/ shaft leading back to motor and shaft is not turning. My plan is to remove seat from floor and see why motor isn't turning it. Am thinking it will be like a garage door opener and have stripped gear, possibly plastic that I will have to replace. No trips planed soon but will let you know what I find when I get to it.

Had some others issues to take care of but will now concentrate on the seat. Not hard to remove just a little uncomfortable.
Will post what I find.

I repaired a similar problem in my 2000 Magna this summer. Motor was running but footrest was inop to intermittent in either direction. After removing the seat, the mechanism was easily removed. I called the manufacturer, Villa International, and they were very helpful in determining what was needed and sending a replacement part. I just looked them up on the Internet to get a phone number. The needed part had been changed but they were able to fix (weld) the replacement so it would work. They needed some measurements from me of the old part. Worked perfectly after the part replacement. It is necessary to call them. Their website is not set up to provide the help needed.

As dsiedschlag's experience shows, it helps to know who made the seat and contact them for guidance. I do not know about other makes, but seats made by Villa have a white tag under the seat that contains all the information about it. I had a tear on my driver seat and contacted Villa (their Elkhart Division). They were very helpful. I actually took out the seat - very heavy - and took it to them. They fixed it.
If you can get under the seat and unplug it momentarily see if that helps!
All the best!

Mine stopped working as well. Not sure which mfg. it is, but I'll be pulling it this fall anyway to replace my Notsocold. I can tell the motor functions, but it is like the mechanism is bound up somehow.

Finally removed the seat & turned it upside down with help. Sprayed WD-40 on the worm drive & kept working back & forth. It became free. I then lubed all worm drives with white lithium. Working great. On to the next project of replacing TV

Good to hear you got it fixed!
I recently took out my 8 year old 46" flat screen Sharpe front TV - weighed about 65 to 70 lbs. I had lost audio on it. Replaced it with a 50" Samsung UHD LED 3D Smart TV, weighs only 27 lbs and much better picture. It fits the cabinet perfectly lengthwise, but a bit shorter height wise which I can live with. I had a little help from a friend who is an electronics wiz, taking the old one out and connecting the right wires. Works great!
