My bedroom TV is original and I want to replace it with a flat screen smart TV. My coach is 3000 miles away. I would like to take advantage of Prime days if possible. The MH is a 2001 Allure 36 '. Has anyone out there replaced theirs and is happy with the outcome. If you could share make and model and especially dimensions of TV I'd appreciate it.

Get a 65 inch Samsung Smart TV, they are great!

No, but if the OP figures out how to do it then I will try it myself. I am actually thinking of removing the bedroom TV since it hasn’t been turned on in several years. I did replace the front TV with a 40 inch Samsung which is a vast improvement over the old 20 inch head bumper.

One note i discovered when i replaced the tube set with a flat screen is the viewing angle. When i checked in the store it looked fine but when installed and looking upward from the bed i could not see a picture.I had to rebuild the mount with an angle but then it didn't look that good when standing.
you would need to take a good look at severe angles in the showroom to confirm it will meet your expectations.

On our '98 Allure for the back TV I mounted a small flat screen to the existing frame and hinged the assembly so the cabinet behind became a not conspicuous but useful storage area. Planning on doing the same with this 2002 Allure. Really easy and worked really well. The bonus is these new TVs use less power and have a much greater viewing angle. Plus they are much less expensive then when I did it last time.

Yep, that is an issue. I installed a 22" Samsung LED with a feature of MagicAngle just for that, 8 years ago though. It's crystall clear to my eyes while lying on the bed.

I put mine on a mount that swings out and also tilt. Can use behind tv for storage but we don't need it. These pics were taken before being finished.

Had that problem with my first install as well. Looks like the Samsungs do better when viewed at an angle. Tested this aspect when looking at them in Costco.

I installed the Samsung with the MagicAngle as well, except in the 27” model. I built a frame to hold it.

Yours looks great

. Your rig is newer than ours so the layout is better. I could have installed a 24" on the corner space but that's about it. At the time I tried to find one 24" but without a success so ended up with a 22". Still pretty good.
