Removing closet carpet

I want to remove the carpet in the closet completely including the wall and replace with wood.

At the same time I would dynamat the area to help with noise while driving.

Question is how to attach the wood?

Thinking cedar..

Anyone done this?

We have done the front of the coach with wood. Thinking about the replacing the rear with wood however, we decided we do not want to do the closet, since to us it seems like a expense. Please post your results, always want to hear the results.
