36' Allure # 30826 with 68k miles, just put on the
Koni Evo's a couple of months ago made a positive difference (almost a big difference) any way it's still a little harsh on some bumps but much less bounce. I'm satisfied with them, I chose them based on what I research on the forums. Going to replace the air bags and ride level valve very soon, for safety reasons not leaking yet but don't want to wait on a blowout either.

I replaced the original adjustable Koni's with Bilstein's about 4 years ago. They fixed the porpoising, but I finally got tired of the harsh ride. Each bump hit way too hard. I replaced them with the Koni EVOs a couple months ago, the ride is much better. The bumps don't hit as hard and no porpoising. I am glad I took the chance and switched. I have a 40' 2001 Intrigue.

I also replaced the front original adjustable Koni's with EVO's. I had 65,000 at the time and did see a marked improvement in handling. The "shorty's" 33' like mine are know for a little more porpoising so it did help that.
I would also recommend at least checking the air ride height valves as well. They take quite a beating going down the road and are exposed to all the salt they put on the road. After replacing all three of my air valves, cornering was dramatically improved and reduced air consumption as well.

Thanks again to all who have answered my question so thoroughly and well. Will be changing to Evos when we take the rig out again.

That may be due to my Toyo tires (as opposed to a tire with a softer sidewall, such as with many Michelins -- or so I'm told, as I haven't run Michelins on this coach), although I probably would have switched to Road King shocks up front by now if they were still available.
So, I agree with Smitty that there's no downside to the Konis, and your old shocks probably are shot anyway, but the EVOs may not be the complete fix you want.
