Replacement blower motor for heat exchanger

I am looking for a used 24V replacement motor blower unit that was in my heater craft heat exchanger (hydrohot/aquahot circa 2005). Apparently, they are discontinued. This one was under my kitchen sink and is frozen.

Other owners have posted how they replaced theirs with computer fans, but most say that they are underpowered. My old fans are not noisy so I still like them. But since they are old, it's just a matter of time before they all stop working.

I'll bet if you get the dimensions of the motor and the shaft you may find something on eBay or Amazon, maybe even Napa. I found the Red Dot motor for my Hurricane blowers there.

I would carefully disassemble that motor from the case and see what you have. 2 companies come to mind that might make a motor for that: https://comfortairgr.com/, and: A/C Parts Automotive and Motorhome. Keep us posted.

Double check those dimensions in the link below against what you have see if it works. I have no experience with that part, only what Google found and looks like a possible update. Could probably talk to someone at SMS, they're generally helpful and know a lot about hydronic systems.

As said above, get down to the motor, and it should have a part number that can be cross referenced from several options.

When I needed to replace my overhead blower motor, which is very similar, but a double ended setup, I found mpparts.com to have best prices and availability. They had the whole assembly for the same price as just the motor.

I took the cover off and found the old part number. I called DCM and they gave me a new part number of TB1160005. Then they gave me a place in Seattle, Sure marine, that may sell it. When they open, I will give them a call.

In case anyone else needs one like mine, here are the pictures.

I bought one from a marine place as well, been looking for the paperwork.
There is actually 12 volts to this motor, it runs slow and quieter than it would at 24 volts. This was CCs way to keep them quite.

I got one from Heatmyrv.com 12 VDC Komfort Motor – Aqua Hot RV Hydronic Heating – EXX-D15-241

it had a shaft on each end and I cut
the unneeded end off after checking rotation.
Its 12vdc 3 speed so I selected the mud speed and its working great

The motor is made by red dot in Tukwila wa., I think they are 20 bucks. Just get the motor not the whole assembly.

Computer motor will just p$$$ you off. It uses less energy and is quiet but does not move enough air. If you buy one that does, it is not quiet and will last about a year.
The old one was fine for 20 plus years so unless you are keeping your coach past 2041
Replace and it forget it.

Yes and totally get another 24volt one. They do run nice and quiet. As mine have failed I replaced them with the same 24v unit as they originally had.
