Replacement for convection/microwave

we have a 2000 intrigue. the convection still worked ,but plastic started breaking apart. got the old one out... cant find a replacement. just a microwave would be ok ,but wont fill the void. has anyone run across this ? ps // if you ever cant get yours out check to see if the mirrors are holding it. originally a model Sharp R-1850-a .. comparable models are also no longer available. ours measured 29.875x15 deepx16 tall. thanks in advance for any advice.. John and Susan 2000 intrigue cooks delight 32 foot .

Go shopping with your tape measure. Any big box store or there websites. You do not need an RV specific unit$$$. On our microwave, Winnebago head it in with 'L' shaped vented coverer brackets screwed to the front top and botton of the microwave and then screwed to the RV cabinet. If you find one just a bit smaller, creative trim work will finish it off.

Old post addresses this issue and recommends a replacement.

Home Depot or Lowe’s should have the GE over range convection oven, but it will have to be ordered. Should fit right in. about $600??

Microwave plastic dies .... cooks ok though

We had a similar problem with our Sharp 1850 Convection Microwave in our 2000 Country Coach.... we found the latest model from Sharp and just inserted it into the spot. The replacement came with the same mounting plate assembly, so inserting a new one was a piece of cake... (The old one is now providing service at our boat dock)

That is a standard over the range microwave or microwave/convection.

Yup, I did that with the original that came in my 2000 HR Endeavor. They are exact replacements, however much improved electronics. And yes they are expensive. But I looked at other good microwave convection ovens all well over $300. And the sharp is almost 1/8” short of 30”. Which means modifications to make it fit.

Once I learned how the mounted, it was about a 15 minute job to swap it out.
