Drop and click vinyl plank

Vinyl plank worked great in mine. It's thin and flexible if your substrate is a little uneven,You can loose lay so you don't have to glue it down, really easy to cut,(jig saw and straight blade.) I used the top and bottom of the box to make templates for curves and odd angle corners. I have a 1992 Thor pinnacle and there wasn't one 90 degree corner or a straight cabinet or wall. Since the walls and cabinets weren't straight I didn't lay them starting on the side. I started at the front and worked my way to the back. I left an 1/8 th to 1/4 inch at the edges and put a little caulking in the gap. No need for base trim. Nice clean look and they're waterproof too

Just replaced the flooring in my 31 Precept. Did the entrance steps too. Used flexible lvp. About 500 in material. Removing carpet on slides is next.

TR4 and Hittntheroad, you guys do VERY nice work! I really want to do the same to my Intrigue, but can't quite get up the nerve. Either one of you get bored again and want to visit the east coast, I have a fridge full of beer waiting for you. LOL

I did the front area, steps and slide with engineered hardwood. I followed Ernie Ekberg's advice, glue it down (it is dimensionally stable for the small area we need), use construction adhesive for the noses and the side walls of the stair entrance. I used light maple to offset our cherry cabinets. We had an estimate of $5,500 from a reputable dealer, I did it for 1,100 in materials.

I left the bedroom for now, there is carpet on the step and bed platform, not sure what I would do with that.

I have a 2006 36' Inspire and we took bids from 3 companies to remove our Tile & Carpet and install Vinyl wood plank which ranged from $6K- 9500. The $6000 number included Aluminum trim at the entry and Home Depot Carpet. The middle bidder said it would take 4-6 weeks to complete and no doubt it was due to alcohol lunch he must have had when I spoke to him. So we ended up knocking the cost down to $9K and going with the high bid and we were not disappointed with the 1 week turnaround. They used real wood with 3/4"bullnosed edges on the entry trim and stained hardwood shoe trim around the perimeter which color matched perfectly. The hardest part of the project is removing the tile from the plywood without tearing up the surface. We went with a slightly darker carpet to contrast with the wood and a longer service life than the original light beige carpet with the logo. I wasn't happy with the cost originally but we must keep wifey happy and after it was all said and done I'll have to admit is was a good choice.

Here’s what I did. The slide was in, so it was hard to get a good picture. I used a urethane adhesive as well.
