First, it is fantastic that you’re entire ordeal…is resolved! I have followed this thread closely and YOU have done a lot of self diagnosing and trouble shouting in your own, as well as listening to others on this thread to help you diagnose your trouble. Glad it’s over fir you! Could you please contact the technician, while it is still fresh in his mind, and find out where the blown fuse was? Very, very curious now!
Thanks, Edward

Always sad to see one of these coaches being towed

I'm also curious as to where the fuse was located and with any blown fuse...what. abused it to go is always on the back of my noggin

I know under my shifter panel inside the coach its like a rats nest of wires most of which appear to be 10 feet longer than needed.

I may get the courage to appear in the relay box....

I did look online and the these control boxes are available at a cost.
Good observation . Ran a quick scan on ebay, a used Allison ECU runs about $500, just about the same amount by sending the unit to the repair shop in Texas.

I just opened up the 6 relay box. There are really 6 relays in it, and in the same size. Pulled one to see, it appears a standard 4 pole relay.

A side note, remember I said in one of my posts that I accidentally turned the key to Acc and both wife and I smelled a burning odor? I have figured it out - the wire to 12v receptacle was charred. No biggie, fixed.

Here's a good read from a site that repairs the modules.

https://www.transmissioninstruments.com/ecu/

Some of article content.

These are near the battery terminals which supplies positive and negative power directly to your ECU through VIM (Vehicle Interface Module). The VIM contains two fuses [for ECU only] and up to six relays powered by the ECU (including the start relay).

Remove the two 10 amp fuses from the Vehicle Interface Module (2950986).

Looks like one of these fuses were blown on CountryFit unit.

That was the shop I was referring to earlier, I had been on their web site looking for info about repairing the shifter, but hadn't read the troubleshooting guide... It makes perfect sense now. Without 12v, the relay to the start solenoid won't close... Interesting though I didn't see the fuses earlier in the morning. Will check it again.

Ours is WTECIII. Learning new things everyday .
