Replacing the dash light bulbs with LED bulbs..
Has anyone replaced the dash light bulbs with led bulbs? I checked the forum and didn't see any postings about it and before I pulled the dash out I would ask..
Thanks,
George

You would have to know the dash light bulb number to check for possible replacements .
BUT; given the tight space inside dash gauges for the bulb , unless the LED globe, is the exact same dimension , it probably won't fit.

There is someone on this forum that has done it and will likely chime in with the details, including his source. You might find it in a search faster.

My 2000 Magna may be different than yours but I replaced most of the bulbs in my dash with these http://tinyurl.com/jq5bsmc
I did not realize that some of the displays are different colors. It was obvious that the turn signals were green but some of them are yellow. You will get better results if you match the led color to the filter color for the display. I used 2 green lights for the turn signals and all cool white for the others.

I used the same lights as phays http://tinyurl.com/jq5bsmc but I used all white colored light because the dash has the different colors in it already. I replaced 19 lights but the only one I did not replace was the ABS because I was told it would start flashing plus I covered all the blank holes with tape. What a difference can see them if the sun is shining on the dash.
One thing is they are Polarity Sensitive (they only work one way)

If you give me day or two, I will will be happy to find the receipt and post it here as well as the other forum. I do remember Bob Vinson in Junction City did the work and as always it was a job well done.

Thanks for the quick answers..This is a great site!
This is one of the bulbs I took out of the dash. I checked the Superbright site and no joy. I did email this photo to them.
It does have a #79 on the base and it is 1-1/2 long. It also says Replace Entire ASM.
Anyone have similar bulbs.

Not what the bulbs our Coach look like, once again different things for different models/years. Ours look more like Christmas tree lights. Super Bright not the only game in town
