RV carpet cleaning

We are going to shampoo the carpet and I wanted to know if there are any do's or don'ts like:

Use this kind of steam cleaner not this type it will leave your carpet wet.

I'd just use the same methods that you'd use on any household carpets. Only problem I see is using any kind of "machine" as there's a million tight spaces in RV's. Other than that, I like to put a couple oscillating fans running on high on the carpets for a couple days to dry it out well...don't think you should have any problems with that approach.

Let me know what you do...happy trails this camping/glamping season!!!

Just had ours done, cleaner used the same steam wand he uses in our house. Ran a fan a bit, all good. In general steam is better for carpets than shampoo.
