Sauer Danfoss Fan Controller

I have a 2007 Inspire with the ECM (engine) controlled FDC. My question is: When the engine is cold and AC is turned off should I get a voltage reading on the 2 wires from the electronic controller that run to the hydraulic control valve?
Also with the hydraulic control valve unplugged what should the resistance be across the coil? I await your replies.

Wayne, You should have two connectors to your FDCA. One with two wires should provide 12VDC to the device whenever the engine is running. The three wire is from your engine computer and I have no idea what the resistance should be as I have one of the 6 wire models.
