Sealand Traveler Toilet, Which Model?
2002 Allure here with a Sealand Traveler toilet. Unfortunately no manual for same. Needs a rebuild. If anyone here has a coach of similar age and this toilet in it maybe you could tell me which model I might have? I think it might be a series 500 or 510. No idea where to find the model or serial numbers.
Thanks.

On my Sealand 510 with the flush pedal on the side there is a label on the toilet base with the model and serial numbers. You have to remove the cover around the base to see it. With the model number you can go online to Dometic and download the instruction manual and parts list.

Thank you, I did that and have the model and serial numbers. I see the aftermarket stuff sold on Amazon is half the price of Dometic and we know they don't make this stuff themselves. Any reason not to order from Amazon?
Ball seal kit is 311462 and valve is 314349.

I'm of the opinion that I only want to replace those parts once when I make the repair. Therefore I want to make sure the parts are the correct ones. Looks like you might save $30 or $40 for something that when repaired should last for years. I went with the originals. Over the 12 years I've owned my coach I replaced the valve and bowl seal once. I have no idea how old the ones I replaced were.
Make sure the connecting tubing from the valve to the incoming water supply fitting does not leak after you've flexed and pulled on the tubing during the replacement. That fitting was buried under wood trim in my coach and leaked after I did the valve replacement.

Newer Dometic valves add water to bowl when flush pedal is "lifted" -- not so with original valves!
I've had better luck with Dometic replacement parts. Ebay and other sources may have lower prices on replacement parts than Amazon.

I replaced our 510 Traveler ball seal with this brand last year. Works great, and made in the USA!
Can't help with the valve, ours is still ok, but I'd probably go OEM. You get what you pay for with the Chinese knock off junk.

I have about $350 dumped into my microphor toilet. I just love the way it works. Kinda like a Swiss Watch.
Here’s mine while on a month trip in Tennessee.

That's cool! You have a toilet in the kitchen! I only have one in the bathroom and it only needs new ball seal after 20 years.

There are lots of YouTube videos to guide you. Rebuilding these is not a big deal.

Don't assume that all the parts sold on Amazon are knock-offs. I just bought a replacement pedal spring and it definitely came labeled as a Dometic part.
