Shopping for insurance
It's that time of the year for my insurance renewal. I currently have Foremost, and I pay about $2200 a year for my 2006 CC Intrigue, 40', and have it registered in Colorado. Am I missing out on any better deals out there, or is my premium about average?
The last time I called other companies for Insurance quotes, it seems that all of them were more expensive.

We have Progressive @ 730.00 a year. Granted ours is a bit older but it may be worth at least getting a quote!

Also, I have been lead to believe that there are not very many companies that have insurance for RV's. We have Foremost

We went with National General which is not as cheap as Progressive, but I just don't care for Flo and her crew.

We are with Foremost but looking around because they want over $700 for a 2014 Ford Fiesta toad for just liability alone. Seems ridiculous to me. SD plates. Actually since we only use the coach 3 months per year would like to find short term insurance on the cheap car.

Not sure how much is much.....1742 miles since Friday at 7 pm but we generally do a few short trips and 2 long trips a year.
Full coverage on a 1990 and an F250 Toad,
other than that I think they have 2 levels of storage, basically stopped driving and in use and "storage". which is some liability but if it is stored at home it falls under the homeowner's policy I think.
It has been a few years since we signed up but Alstate got way to expensive for basically 15 to 20 day of driving every year.

Stored at home, you might want to carry comprehensive at a minimum if you want hail, theft and vandalism coverage. Another scenario at home is if it's in your driveway near the road and someone does a hit & run, your homeowners won't cover it. You would need full coverage, can't remember which part specifically. That came from my State Farm agent....I believe that's what he told me.lol
