Side console removal

Trying to replace flooring in my '01 Intrigue. Cannot figure out for the life of me how to get the side console out of the Coach. I found two LARGE screws in the bottom going into the floor and two wood screws behind the dash to the left of the heater and A/C controls but nothing else. It will lift up slightly but not pull back. What am I missing?

Also, any tips on unplugging the large red wire plugs? Do they just pull apart? or is there a lock of some sort? I do not want to break them but it would be nice to remove the console out of the way once it is removed.

As always, thanks in advance.

Send pictures of what your looking at.

Most automotive electrical plug/receptacles have a locking feature to them.

Thank you for responding. Believe it or not, they do not lock. I got my nerve up and pulled on them and they just pulled apart. Very straight forward.

I also was able to remove the console. I had to remove the transmission control (shifter if you will). Once it was removed, there were two wood screws going into the wall that were accessible. This allowed the console to slide back enough to remove one last VERY large 6" screw from the upper front, just behind the dash and it came right out.
