My vms 200 screen was going bad line by line, I found a vms 400 at Visone RV salvage mostly plug and play replacement with a color display. Silverleaf said it was a much better quality/ longer life display then the 200. It is larger, but with a little creativity I got it to fit and it looks and works great. Larger color screen is awesome They do have a vms 320 available now. I believe it is similar to the 400 and also has a color screen (but no video inputs for cameras). I was told by silverleaf to keep the 200 as the board was the same in the 400 if it ever went bad. You may want/need to send it back to silverleaf to reprogram for some functions like the generator. Here is the link to the one available.

I believe I have a pdf manual for the 400/320 if someone wants it. I know I have a printed copy.

Thanks MarylandRich. I will file this away. So far no problems at all with the screen of my 240. When my 200 screen went they had a trade in program so I got the 240 for a somewhat reduced price. The 240 they said had a much longer-lasting color screen. Sounding like that turned out not to be the case.I presume the screen from the 300 would also fit my 240? I'll have to ask Silverleaf.

Thanks Marylandrich. I see you replace the whole thing with a 300. I don't think there's room in my dash for anything that big where my current 240 is. The Panasonic rear view camera is just above it.

Mine is a 400, I believe the 320 is the same size. Yes I was lucky it just fit, and even then I had to remove 2 of the rear lights for the 2 gauges above, that shine though the fake wood panel (the gages still light up). I did it just before a 5000 mile trip this summer, and bigger is better, and a screen with all pixels working is even better. If you have the space, and do not want another aux tablet or computer on the dash (I already use an iPad for gps above the Panasonic rear camera) it a great way to go.In my opinion it is a more elegant solution.

The 400 also has 2 video/camera inputs, and I plan to add 2 side view cameras when ever I have some spare time.

I may have one at home. I have a 2007 Magna and when I bought it there was an extra control head. The last owner upgraded to the 400 series control head. I am at a rally now but will be home Sunday. PM me
