Slide Room Rebuild

We currently fulltime in our motorhome. Found damage in the floor and ceiling of our LR slide (immediately behind driver) that needs to be repaired. Have spoken with Oregon Motor Coach by phone and they indicate that the floor needs to be completely rebuilt since the rotting wood is a single piece of specially built up plywood. Asked them who in Florida or the Midwest might be able to do the repair (since we are currently in Florida) and the only shop they could think of that worked on Country Coach was Buddy Gregg in Knoxville TN. But that recommendation was from years ago. Iíve called Buddy Gregg and they did say they could do the repair as well. The work wonít be done at either place until September.

My question for this group is where would you bring your coach for repair? I called North Trail in Florida and they wonít work on itÖ and Iíve read that many of the larger MH repair facilities donít work on CCs or coaches not sold by them that are more than 10 years old. Given the distance to drive to Oregon (and the expense of diesel) all things being equal, I'd opt to stay in the midwest or Florida.

I can call other places, but since itís such a large expensive repair Iíd like to get the right folks to do the work.
Thanks for any input / advice.

I priced out restoring a slideout on a 1999 Dolphin. I Never pulled the plug but would have had Colerain Family RV in Cincinnati OH do the job. That location has the shop necessary to remove the slideout from the chassis and do the job right. Scheduling and price right now are at an all-time difficulty level but my research indicated the job would get done correctly.

I do believe that somewhere on this forum there is a service list also there is a place in Florida. I am sure some of the great members will answer.

Buddy Gregg has techs that are very familiar with CCs. Quality will be good. They have done work for me in the past and I was satisfied.

Thanks for the input. I've been online looking at reviews at RV Service Reviews (I think that's the website wfalch referred to) and haven't been impressed with those left for Buddy Gregg. Though I really don't see any recent ones. I'll check out Colerain and see what they might say on Monday.
