Small paint bubble

Damn! Just found a small (1 inch round) paint bubble.

It's at the bottom of a slide ... in the molding piece. The caulking above it appears great, but I just pressed hard on the bubble and a small squirt of water and air popped out of tiny pinhole.

Obviously, I will seal the pin hole, but thoughts on if I should do anything else? My guess is it will cease to expand or worsen once I seal up the pin hole.

I guess I can't complain on a 10 year old 45 foot coach ... a single, one inch bubble in a plastic trim piece isn't too bad.

You might want to trace up to find out from where the water got in. Without fixing the water leaking it could only get worse.

i have found that the aluminum angle that goes around the slide edges will get a little corrosion going on and form a bubble.I have one on my slide.

I did. It's the pinhole directly above it.

On my slide, there is a piece of molding at the bottom edge... and a bead of caulk between the molding and the slide. The pinhole leak is in the silicone caulk right on top of the bubble.

I am going to hit it on low with some heat to ensure there is no moisture left... then seal up the pinhole... and keep an eye on it.

It's only the paint on a piece of plastic molding - not in the body of the coach... so not too bad.
