"I don't believe my ride is as comfortable as the IFS, so a couple of extra pounds in the drivers seat seems to fix that"
No way would I admit to that

Hey all. Kevin Waite has posted in the CC owners forum that he has the upgraded sway bar bushings for our sway bars. He has just the bushings and hardware. Hopefully it's cheaper than ordering the whole kit from Neway. I will be ordering these this week.

Coach out of shop. Returning it Monday the ride is very stiff . I have some question about some things I didn't notice before. Travel mode will not engage with tag up is this normal?
Travel mode kicks out and HWH kicks in after short distance I don't remember if it did that before is that normal?

Did the shop reset your ride height?
Not sure what you mean by the travel mode kicks out, and HWH kicks in?
On mine the HWH control panel will light up in yellow while going down the road, which signals a low ride height on that side.

My 2 cents. When you are in Travel Mode and the tag axle goes up, I believe you get a ABS light. Not sure because we always try and make sure the the tag axle switch is in the down position. We always try and put the tax axle in the down position before we go to push the air button twice to level.

On my coach early on when I called CC on this issue they said the easy way to check it is with the coach parked. If you can slide your hand between the tire and the wheel well opening with little finger on the tire and the first finger just touching the wheel well then you are good to go.
When i adjust mine per CC specs I can only get 3 1/2 fingers between the tire and well.
Also when traveling down the highway my travel lite will go off and the PS rear air bag "RED" lite comes on. As stated previously this indicates low air bag pressure usually caused by improperly adjusted ride height valves.
Hope this helps...

Hear I am one month from original post. Very frustrated I have taken coach back 3 times and they can't get it to ride level. Firs time it wasn't close took it back immediately, second time it wasn't right, 3rd time it rode ok but seemed to ride to higher but all systems seemed to be working correct. Took it home dumped air. A couple days later I was taking it to storage got ready to go it's no longer staying in travel mode it's jumping to HWH and running too low in front. Took it back had to get country coach on phone to talk to mechanic (No help). Now it sets in stall leaning to left (wasn't before)and they've informed me that they can't get it adjusted and I know someone who can fix it I might want to take it to them. Wow

Sorry for your troubles. Not sure why they are having such a difficult time. If I was you I would take it to a different shop.
These rapid response valves are a lot more finicky then on a semi truck, and take more time to get them right.
When setting ride height the 1st thing is to get it level side to side. You do this by adjusting the rear valves. If the coach is not level side to side, then it puts a great amount of pressure on your front sway bar as it's now trying to compensate.
Then adjust the front to get it to the correct height. You may also have to adjust both sides of the rear depending on measurements.
I am wondering if it's possible you have a bad ride height valve in the rear that started this whole thing.
When I had one side go bad in the rear last year I was told to always replace both sides at the same time.
It is best to take it where they have a underground pit. If not then they would need ramps. It would be extremely difficult to do this on flat ground.

Yes, you can't go into travel mode if the tag lift is on, travel mode light won't come on. The tag will automatically drop at about 10 mph if you persist in driving it with the tag lifted.

Thanks I guess I just needed to vent. The guys at the shop are always nice, but I feel If they had made it priority after first visit they could have fixed it. Now I hope I don’t damage it getting it to the next shop.

Here we are 2 months. Took it to new mechanic he is chasing what has been done. The coach will not stay in travel mode it runs down hill (low in front) Original mechanic unhooked solenoids in front so I could move it but as soon as you hook them back up valve releases air and front. Mechanic has called HWH they say it's not there system causing problem. Any Ideas ??
