Thomas auxillary compressor electrical source?

My Thomas auxillary compressor has no wiring directly to the unit. There is a 120v asco solenoid valve wired into the airline. Question: should there be a 120v direct power source wired directly to the compressor.

Are you saying your Thomas pump does not run? That pump is a 12 volt pump.

Here is what I have on my 2000 Magna.

There is no 120 volt wiring in the front run bay.

There is a 20 amp fuse for that air compressor on the front run board fuse panel. It is the top fuse on the driver's side of the board and has a red wire, #265, going to it.

There is a 12 volt solenoid in the bay for the air horn and just forward of the bay is a water separator with a solenoid. That forward solenoid is a normally open valve and wired to close when the pump runs and then open when the pump shuts off so any collected water will drain from the bowl of the separator.

I have two asco solenoid valves in the front Bay in my coach. One for the horn. The second runs in line with the airline from the compressor. The tag on the compressor says 115v. The number on the solenoid does not offer a 12v option. It's 24v or 120v. The wires from the solenoid run to a high voltage box. There are no wires running to the compressor.

BTW called CC and they said that the asco Valve was not the horn solenoid. Turned out it was. They had me looking everywhere for it. Now trying to find new brass fittings. Not a hardware store or auto store item.
