Tire monitoring

Evening,

Looks as if the Smartire tps system that was an option in the coach we have purchased, but have yet to take delivery of has issues with two sensors of the eight on the coach. From what I here Smartire is no longer. Any suggestions as to a decent tps system? I hear wireless may be the ticket.

Thank you,

Stonefish

I have been using the TST 507 system for 10 tires about 10 years has worked great. Just replace the batteries every 2 years.

I've been using the EEZRV TPMS system on 10 tires and it's worked great for three years. I changed the batteries in the sensors after two years. I did have to install their booster in the rear of my coach in order to make sure my toad's rear tires always came through accurately.

I’ve got this too. Has saved me a couple of times!

Try this link for them.....
https://www.ironwingsales.com/produc...ENDIX#products

They are also on EBay, if you use ebay...
you are looking for 201.007N, according to Silverleaf.

Within the past week, I spoke with "SilverLeaf" and they directed (helped) me to different sites to make a purchase of the Smartire that I needed. I would not expect them to do that, if they were in the market of selling them. IMHO

Dickman has the sensors, just ordered one. You will need to send the “brain” of the Tiresmart to them to get programmed with the new serial number. Be sure you specify what location the new sensor is going.
On my coach, 08 Affinity, it is located on the left side by my feet behind the plastic recessed stuff holder.

Just as a note If you are somewhat inclined I was able to replace the battery in my sensors with batteries from Mouser electronics

https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail...UksAp%252Bg%3D

It does require soldering 3 contacts but the process is pretty straight forward.

Best

Thanks for the tip, I will try that when I take this one off.
Any tips on getting battery out or straight forward?
