Toilet again

Just dumped(no pun intended)another $75 into my Microphor toilet.
$3 part they charge $44 for and $30 for overnight shipping.
Another leak were the two hopper peices bolt togeather. Over 10 hours working on it. Had to pull up toilet to remove hopper so I set it up on a plastic table next to rv battery compartment outside and ran a couple wires from battery to toilet and hooked up hose to toilet water inlet and was able to flush and find leaks.

I know your pain.

The parts and shipping are killers since there is really only one vendor.

Hopefully with my last $400 we are sitting pretty on our toilet.

I now know the internals intimately and refuse to give up on the porcelain dumpster.

X2 Dean I will keep on repairing as needed. I know it inside and out. I think a timer is in my near future.

Just some useless info. If your solenoid goes bad you can pull the two wires from the timer to the solenoid off the solenoild and use a 9v battery with a couple wire leads in a jam to flush.
The timer is when Handel is flushed it sends power to solenoid to push plunger into diaphragm the timer then determines how long the flapper takes to go through its cycle.

Oh, the flush cycle timer.

I had thoughts of something potentially more socially sinister.

Thank you for the trouble shooting advice.

Hopefully my new solenoid will go another twenty years.
