towing??

i own a 1998 country coach intrigue 40'. i tow a 2010 f-150 4x4 with a air brake setup installed on the brake pedal. If i want to tow a flat car hauler with electric brakes does the coach activate the electric trailer brakes or do i need a air switch of some sort?

You will need to install a electric brake controller. More than likely you wont have the blue wire you need in your 7 pin plug at the rear,or up to the dash where you need the controller mounted, check it out. I went with a wireless unit due to no wiring front and rear and it works great. Tekonsha Prodigy RF Wireless Trailer Brake Controller - 1 to 3 Axles - Proportional Tekonsha Brake Controller 90250
Do some home work and maybe you can locate one cheaper than this one.
