I have a 2000 intrigue.

Can anybody tell me where the automatic transfer switch is located.

It is probably in the same compartment as the electrical cable that goes to shore power hook up.

Follow your shore power cord. The end terminates in the transfer panel. There will be another wire coming from your generator, and one exiting to the rv.

And another idea. Go plug it in, go inside of your coach, and wait to hear what direction the 'thunk' comes from!

Our 04 Allure, has the Shore Power come in on the rear Driver Side, but our EMS and ATS are behind the Circuit Breaker cabinet in bedroom on the Driver's side...

So it's not always so obvious!

Best of luck to you! Please update this thread, when you find it - as it could help others in the future...

I have a 2000 Intrigue with power cord reel and the transfer switch is located in bedroom, passenger side behind the circuit breaker panel. Just open the overhead cabinet above bed and on right behind power panel it is inside the space covered by a clear panel.

Thanks. I’ve heard that sound and will track it down and let everybody now. Won’t be for about two weeks. I believe it is behind the Circuit breakers which is driver side all the way in the back

It is Drivers side, not sure how I wrote Passengers side. And, I should know I changed mine when it failed. It isn’t easy to stand on the bed and act like a contortionist to remove and reinstall the switch.
