Trident Keyless entering system

I have a 2008 Couintry Coach Intrigue with the Trident keyboard on the door. I just purhased the coach but did not have the code to "lock" the coach. My previous coach used 555 to lock. I tried this and several other numbers but all I did was set off the system beeping. I could not stop it so I called Trident and they told me to find the trident controller. Does anyone know where that was installed in the 2008 Intrigue. I could not stop the beeping so in desperation I disabled the enter keypad. I need to get a new controller but they need information from my current one and I cannot find it.

On my 08 magna the alarm controller is in the basement under the driver. It has a button on it to program a new number if needed.

I’m thinking you mean TriMark vice Trident. My situation on an 08 magna is just push and hold 1 to lock. Not sure if that’s standard but you might try it. Need a 6 digit code to open though. If you get 3 beeps from the alarm horn when locking, that means one of your doors isn’t closing correctly/completely and alarm isn’t set.

Also be aware that at the door joint the wires may tend to break internally, meaning you can't see if it's broken. This will make it impossible to.enter your code as needed

I found thisnoutnthe hard way

Well, I can agree with all the posts, so far and I have an 08 Magna too. Hold down the 1 key and it all locks and arms. Six digit code ending in 1, to unlock. I too had to rewire my door from wires broken in the door harness which was a major pain.

May I ask a question of my own? My system formerly would lock the main door and all the bay doors, if all were unlocked before arming and then unlock all when the main door was unlocked. It will still do that. However, formerly if the bays were all locked already and I locked the main door only the main door would unlock when I unlocked the door, leaving the bays still locked. Now regardless of the state of locking of the bays prior to locking the coach, the bays unlock when unlocking the door. Do any of you know how to set the system to go back to the original method, that leaves the bays locked?

Also, I get the 3 beeps every time I lock and I thought it just meant I was locked. I often check all the doors and all are locked. So, I'm not sure on that comment.

You might try different combinations of door keypad locking/unlocking with the inside ‘bay lock’ switch on/off by the door. Don’t have an answer on how to keep bays locked when using door pad to unlock but you can manually relock them with the switch. Re: 3 beeps. That’s from the manual. It’s telling you that while the doors are locked, one of the door push pins is not grounded and the alarm (noisemaker) isn’t set. First pin to check is passenger side engine door-normally the culprit.

Good info Foxhallr, thank you. I shall check the doors in more detail. I got the coach when it was about 5 yrs old and all the manuals had gone missing. I have reproduced and found lots of information, but I have many missing areas, including the Trimark Manual. Does your coach leave the bay doors locked when you lock and unlock your coach? My engine bay doors are shut and manually locked typically, but maybe the sensor is faulty. So, when the door pin is depressed, ie the door shut, the pin should be grounded? I have tried every combination of bay lock/unlock and door lock/unlock so am at a loss there. Cheers
