warranty for a 05' country coach

1/4/11 Purchased an 05' Country Coach, 36', quad slide from Guaranty RV in Junction City,Or. They offered a warranty from Interstate Star RV. Has anyone had experience with this company? We are excited to get RVing, but think a "good" warranty would be good investment. Any suggestions. Thank you very much. Jerry/Phyllis

We had a Star RV warranty on the 2003 Bounder that we just traded for the 2009 Gulf Stream. They paid for a Fridge, AC Curcuit board and a coulpe of other things within the first month or so. I think how the repair center calls in the repair request and how they work for you is as important as the warranty itself. We went with...crap I can't remember for the DP. I hope they are as good as Star RV. But when buying a used coach you HAVE TO get a warranty. IMO

We have had a Platinum policy from XtraRide for a little over a year. They have done a very good job. We have had a number of problems with our coach and they have been easy to work with.

Thanks Bob, what made you go with them? What others did you consider? It's a lot to do, finding a coach, warranty, still looking for a tow vehicle. Place we bought coach from sells Star.

A lot of the cost of after market warranty policies sold by dealers is profit to the dealer. Do your own research of companies and buy directly from the company.

We went with XtraRide as several dealers in AZ who did not know each other all said they were the best to deal with when something needed repair. We got the seller to pay for half. The dealer cut their markup considerably. We are very happy with this policy.
