If you have an old control box, it's pretty straight forward to make a test box out of it with a few switches.

I think we used 3 switches and just manually turned on the fuel pump, igniter coil, and fan.

Maybe it was 4 switches, now I think about it. A 4th for the fuel solenoid.

You can swing it open and watch the spark and fuel mist pattern.

Be careful if you turn on the ignition while you have the fuel on, it gives off a pretty good flame!

While it's open, take a look at the burner area. I have seen them get melted from too much heat/blocked exhaust.

Forgot to update. I got it running no smoke.
I have another issue though. The bedroom heat exchanger fan won’t run. Looking at my coach drawings looks like their is a relay marked J in the Webasto box.
