What is the 6" pvc pipe endcap in the sewer bay for? (1998 Magna)
In my sewer bay there is a 6" PVC pipe that exits right next to the black water flush intake port. It's covered by a 6" screw endcap. I've removed the cap it's just a pipe going somewhere. Just wondering what it is and where the pipe goes.

Sounds like PVC tube to store your sewage dump hose(s) when not in use. This is a popular DIY upgrade using 6" PVC fence posts from Loews/Home Depot.

It is to store your hose but only if you take off the ends each time which is bothersome. I put my fishing poles in there and store my hose in the area below the dump valves. Works well on my '99 Allure.

Yes, it is storage for your sewage hose. Country Coach installed it on their coaches.

6" should be plenty large enough to fit a sewer hose with the connections still attached.

According to the OP, he's looking at a 6" pipe & cap. Maybe it was an owner added mod?

I don't know what size my pipe is but it holds a sewer hose with room to spare. I just wish they had made it longer.

I doubt it. I happen to have the same year and model. Mine looks like this. It's 4inch pvc. Holds a hose with no ends and as allready noted would be nicer to be longer also.

I thought it was a clean-out for the black water tank. I also have a 6" PVC in one of the storage bays the previous owner kept awning hooks and other long misc parts in.

If you use the tapered slip fittings they are the same dia as hose and will fit. Mine has the twist lock style on one end and just nicely prevents the whole thing from sliding in and getting lost.
You might try an adaptor ftg on the end to accept the twist lock end.
