Who is this Kevin Waites person??

New to the CC world...just about 4 weeks into our 2005 Inspire Siena. Thrilled with the coach...even though we had a breakdown on our first trip (fortunately it was just the oil pressure sensor)

On the HWH topic today I noticed the following message:

“Have you considered signing up for Kevin waites service. 350 per year and you will have access to him and butch. Both former CC guys that now offer this service. I’ve saved thousands. “

Sounds like a wise investment. Who are these guys and does anyone know how to reach them?

They are both well known and honest guys. Kevin knows where most of the parts originate and can source them while butch does troubleshooting to help you diagnose the part you need and advise on installing procedures.
Also use this forum since most have run into the same problem and can get you going.

Kevin is a good CC information resource. In my experience it may take more than one call or text to get him to respond on a particular issue. Not a big issue, just call again if need be.

Butch Williams is Kevin's brother-in-law that also worked at CC and I seem to recall Kevin said Butch is primarily an electrical systems expert. He lives in Washington State, the last I heard (no longer at Fountain RV in Florida).

If you get a parts quote from Kevin and it's something also offered by other suppliers, it's worth comparison shopping because, in my experience, Kevin's prices are often on the high side. (He did significantly reduce his price on one expensive item I needed after I told him that competitors had it for hundreds less.)

I've had Kevin inspect and work on our coach while we were in Junction City and based on my experience I would not recommend doing that.

Definitely keep using this forum, there is a wealth of information and incredibly helpful fellow CC owners here.

Kevin is a good guy and was the final inspection guy for CC for years. He works out of Brian Schnack's shop outside of JC. They are knowledgeable but i found it is good to make sure you know what is going on as well.

Kevin is mostly interiors, Butch is electrical and Brian is everything else. It is worth it to take a rip up there and have them do a rundown on the coach and we here can help as well. My personal experience is to try to stay away from shops that are not used to CC or other super high end coaches or they might cause more problems than they solve. (I have learned this expensive lesson more than once)

If you plan to have your coach checked over in Junction City there are other CC experts there that many of us here can recommend for that kind of service.

Opinions are like....never mind. I would save the $350 yearly service. Between this and a few other forums,Google and YouTube their is not much you can't find a fix.
