Why, do you suppose, did CC decide to not install the winterizing features. Like the water heater bypass piping arrangement and the water pump pick-up tube for use with antifreeze bottles.

I'm very disappointed that an up-scale coach company did not include these basic features.

??? They did on my coach. Water heater bypass valve right there in the 'wet' bay. And a valve and input going directly to the pump so antifreeze can be sucked into the system. Could also use it to get water from a non-pressurized source, I suppose.

And for that matter, another valve to supply 'city' water to the system or fill the tank.

Hmmm that's interesting. Maybe it was optional in 2000 but mine has neither. I'm in the process of installing both now.

My 2000 Allure does not have the bypass valves either. CC recommends blowing the water lines to winterize. I have done this successfully for 7 years. Personally, I find this quite easy and I do not have to clear the pink stuff out of the lines in the Spring that some people say leaves a bad taste in the water.
