Wireless Door Lock

My door lock wonít respond to my key fob either to lock or unlock. Punching in the number code does nothing, also. I put in a new battery for the fob but had no luck. Iím sure there are past threads about this part. Does anyone know how to troubleshoot if I pull the mechanism from the door? Is there a fuse somewhere?

Jerry

i would look thru the wiring diagram to find the fuse circuit. The one thing that may be wrong is the cable that goes to the door thru the door jam. There are 8 wires in the loom i think and there known to break. You can wiggle the section with the door open and bumping the remote. Kevin has the new cables pre wired.

Surpised that you have a 400hp. In 08 most were 425hp.

To your issue, I had the same problem. The cable in the door gets pinched and breaks a wire. The cable controls steps, alarm, bay locks and temp indicator on dash. The breaker reset is located in the bay compartment by the inverter.

Kevin does sell the harness but the wiring diagram is generic. Took me a while with friends help to finally get it wired correctly. Kevin was trying to help as always.
