YT - 08 Magna engine access - not so easy
I would be very worried about letting anyone without CC experience work on it. Lot of things could go wrong...

Hi RV-LEDs - CountryFit is well versed on where to get help with Country Coaches. I believe he was pointing out this tech, who has some interesting posts under his YouTube handle, was not really too familiar with Country Coaches in general !
It was not his coach, and do not believe he has any problem he's asking for help with - which is good!!!
The gent in the video did get it done. I personally prefer more care on tools being placed on tile, and onto counter tops. And would have liked to seem a protection cover on the bed too. If it was my coach, I would have had things prepped with conversation going on with this gent as he came into to do the work. Possibly the coach is at a Dealer, and they're getting work done it in prep of selling...
Always, best to you, and all,
Smitty

Nope, nothing imminent. I can see the reasons that people go extra miles to JC/Eugene area or a few former CC employees' in other parts of the country to get their CC jobs done...

As I widdle down my list of DPs for an eventual purchase in the next few years, CC is at the top. Everything I've read (lots on here.... thanks everyone!) has been very positive and CC is far out in front as my first choice.
Something I didn't realize which sounds like it may be further icing on my DP cake is that I just live a couple hours from JC/Eugene. A quick Google search turned up some great looking service options in that area. Are there specific/favorite shops that you seasoned CC veterans like?

Certainly a great list for West Coast owners, and I've consulted some of these by phone for problems as I'm considerably far more east (the Carolinas).
For work I can't do own my own, I anticipate I'll have to rely on a heavy truck repair center, unless anyone can add to the list above with resources for other parts of the country. Please add if known.

I was wondering how much work it took on a rear bath.

Just for the record, Eric Olstrom's shop does do considerable chassis work. For example, they were repairing one of those Magnas with the bad welds on the drive axle suspension when I was there in April. I'm not sure, but I think they do most chassis things other than engine, transmission or generator repairs.

I'd have to look for alternatives to this guy to tear my coach apart. Luckily I don't have a Magna

Ya know, I have to thank you for posting this video.
I have been kicking around the idea of trading to a larger coach, you know, tandem axle, a bedroom slide for a little more room, heated floor, or possibly a bath & 1/2? .... Maybe?
This video sure makes my access look sooooo much better.
I suppose one doesn't have to access the top of the engine often, but if and when?
Sure seems extreme
