2023 Precept 36C floor mats

Hello all. We purchased a 2023 Jayco Precept 36C and were wondering if others use any type of floor Matt or rug for the driver or passenger side. In the short time we have had the rig, we notice that a lot of dirt and mud build up in the footwell of the driver and passenger and were wondering what if anything people are using for that. Do we just get like a welcome Matt or some other small low pile carpet for that area or will it just get in the way. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Since this is a Class A motorhome, I'd try to catch the dirt before it gets into the coach. I'd look for a door mat outside at the entrance, or on the entry steps into the coach. If you want something to catch dirt in the cockpit foot wells, you could choose between universal carpeted mats, or rubber/plastic floor mats.

We had a Precept Prestige 36U . I made a cardboard template, then went to Lowe's and bought a 4X6 mat and trimmed it to fit. Did the same to ther stairwell. Less than $50 and can replace every year.
