Battery relocate

Does anyone know if the battery cables on a 28.5RSTS are long enough to re-route to the underbed storage. I have a new unit on its way, and would like to stick a pair of BattleBorns under the bed to keep them cool/warm.

Not hard to extend the cables you have.

Use short bolts to clamp the eyes together and cover with good quality shielding or heatshrink tubing. Tie them up and secure them so they can't rub. Remember there's a lot of vibration going on as you drive down the road.

I did something similar on my Flagstaff trailer when I moved the new batteries inside but I ran one size larger wire to the original location and put a weatherproof box where the battery box was originally. The larger wire size keeps voltage drop no worse than the original setup. Plus I didn't have to get into the enclosed underbelly
