Brake Controller

Do you need a fancy brake controller? I will be pulling around 4000 pounds, trailer and vehicle. I see were the prices range from <50 bucks to 200 plus.

I have a Brake Buddy that I bought off Craigslist. It is wireless and works well in my Jeep, behind the 36 Fleetwood. No interference with the rear engine stuff. Think I paid something over $200, but easy to hook up and head down the road.
