Gas BBQ Gas Connection

Hi, our newly purchased Jayco Granite Ridge Class C comes with the optional BBQ that mounts on the right rear side of the motorhome. The LP hose is only about 3-4 feet long. Is there another LP connection I am not aware of or do I need to purchase a longer hose?

Isn't there a propane 'quick coupler' connection with shutoff valve directly Under the Grill location???

No Quick Coupler in Sight

Old Biscuit I sure don’t see it, nor does the manual tell you where it is. I can crawl under the coach and follow the gas line, but there is no way that 3 ft hose would reach it. Am I blind?

Why not ask the dealer?

That said, it looks like your BBQ has a regulator on it - which means it's set up to connect directly to a tank. As far as I know most quick connects on TT/RVs are after the unit's regulator - and are meant to connect to appliances without regulators... So I'm wondering if your BBQ setup is meant to attach to a stand-alone 20lb tank?

That's what I am thinking too, that it was meant to connect to a stand alone tank. I'll ask a dealer if I can find one who is familiar with this 15 year old MH. We bought it used from a guy who was just flipping MH'S. Thanks for everyone's help.
