Greyhawk 31DS Awning

Was walking around the campground today and noticed that all the other Jayco's, and those not Jayco, the awnings are straight. Ours is angled toward the rear. We were told this was designed that way so water did not accumulate on it. Anyone else have their awning like this? THX

2016 precept awning

Hi, my precept awning is the same way as yours. Our dealer said it helps rain come off the awning better. Living in FL we have been in some serious rain since we bought ours. Drainage is real good although it looks a bit weird. I have seen various awning on different models sloped and also straight in both Jayco and other models. Think if you really dislike it the dealer can adjust it. so far in big down pours i've been happy with end results with the slope.
