Jay Feather Cabinet Dropped, hole in linoleum
My husband and I own a 2008 Jay Feather 26L which we absolutely love however have had to service it many times. This past winter we took it to for service on the slide as it was not moving in and out smoothly. They replaced some bolts on one end of the slide where they were loose from the main body of the trailer. We used the trailer 3 times after the repair but kept hearing a noise and not sure where or what was causing it. By the 3rd time of putting the slide out, the cabinet on the far end of the slide from their repair job was sitting on the floor without any clearance space causing the front face of the cabinet to pull away from the main unit and also tear a hole in the linoleum. Has anyone had a cabinet come loose and drop down? Does anyone know how the cabinets are attached to the slide unit? The dealer is claiming it is not their work done on the slide causing the problem and that it was probably just road wear. Still trying to figure out who is responsible for the cost of damages. Any insight that would be helpful would be appreciated.
