Jayco trailer brakes reads faulty wiring when connected to truck reading when

Any suggestions: Trying to figure out why brakes on the Jayco trailer intermittently stop working when connected to the truck. Checked the connection and wiring. Not sure why it does this. Anyone have this problem?

Too little information. Four pin or seven pin connector? Age of the trailer? Sounds like corrosion of the pins or poor contact

I have a 2017 Jayco. Same issue and blew fuses in truck several times. After taking in for warranty work and being told it was definitely the truck, took to Dodge dealer. Mechanic located problem and it was in the Jayco. Driver side, middle light. Apparently when constructed, the wires for the lights were run under an interior wall, and the coating was ground down. Had to complete all the paperwork and sent to Jayco and they honored the work. 5th wheel was under warranty and I had to jump through several hoops but it was worth it.
