Jayco White Hawk25BH

I was wondering if there are by chance any owners of the Jayco White Hawk 25BH model TT here. If so, what are your likes and dislikes about this unit? Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in Advance. RR

We don't have the 25BH model, but do have the White Hawk 29REKS. It was our first TT purchase and we were getting back into camping after a break of about 30 years! When our kids were little we bought a used Jayco popup, but since they're grown and I'm retired we decided to get back into it. The major thing that we'd like different would be more room around the bed. The person sleeping on the street side has a little bit of a squeeze to get around. It also has the "short queen" bed which is all that will fit in there with the way the walls are configured. My wife loves the counter space in the kitchen and we both like the double slideouts and theater seating giving a nice size living area for us and our German Shepherd. Our unit has the fireplace which has come in VERY handy when camping in cool (or cold) weather when you just want to take some morning chill out of the room.

One other thing that we have discovered after buying the unit is that you can't get into the refrigerator when the slides are in. You can get into the freezer, but the kitchen counter keeps you from opening the main refer door. You'll find that whatever you get will need a few changes after you use it for a while. I just replaced the shower head with an Oxygenics Fury due to low water flow through the original unit. I'm also thinking about removing the little (AC only) refrigerator in the cargo compartment since we never use it and I'd rather have some additional storage.

We have a 2013 Whitehawk 31DSLB that we purchased in August of 2012. We looked at several other brands and really liked the layout and the construction of the Jayco. No complaints at all. Click image for larger version

That is a great looking unit. The White Hawks are among some of the sharpest units we've seen.
