Narrowed down to two models (29ME and 31DS) and have questions

We're about to become Jayco owners, and have it down to 2 different models. Problem is, we've been unable to see either in person, as the closest is 15 hours away! Even so, we've been so impressed by what we have managed to see that we're going to buy "blind." But we have 3 questions before we choose our model that we haven't been able to get answered online anywhere.

First, in the 31 DS, can you reach the bathroom with the slide in? It looks like you should be able to, but with that side entry bath, I want to make sure. Defeats the purpose if I can't go while hubby's driving.

Second, does anyone know what the CCC of the 31 DS is? Since we haven't been able to see a model, we haven't been able to see the yellow sticker. I understand it varies with options, but I need ballpark.

Third, does anyone know what the CCC of the 29ME is? Same as above. We haven't been able to see it, so can't see the sticker and just need ballpark.

I appreciate any help that anyone can give! Thanks!

wonder if your dealer would go out and take photos for you with the slide in, CCC stickers and all that. Most of them are happy to do it.

Welcome to the forum (and hopefully the Jayco family).

For Jayco specific questions don't forget to ask over at Jayco RV Owners Forum as well.

We have a 2011 31 DS and when the slides are in everything is totally accessible and usable (although a little snug in places). There is definitely more than enough room to pass by the fridge to get down the hall to the washroom while driving. We bought our coach on the other side of the country. On the drive home we pushed into the night on a couple of occasions and while using a Walmart parking lot rather than a campground found everything totally functional with the slides in.

As far as CCC goes each model year is likely a little different. Getting the dealer to e-mail you a snapshot of the yellow sticker sounds like a great idea. Ours had a yellow sticker with the CCC on the drivers door pillar as well as the passenger door cubbies or storage trays.

Here is ours (2235 lbs) :
