New Jayco Owner

Hello All,

My wife and I will take delivery of our new 2022 Whitehawk 27RK next week. We are looking forward to joining the Jayco family and hope to learn a lot from all of you seasoned RVers! We have been tent campers for our entire lives but did own a pop-up for a few years a while back. This will be the largest trailer I have ever towed so I am a bit nervous about the learning curve. We are hoping to begin longer term traveling when I retire in a few years but will be weekending and taking vacation trips until then. I will be pulling the new rig with a 2021 F350 SRW 6.7L Diesel. We would love to hear from other Jayco owners about tips and tricks, mods, checklists, etc. We hope to be out a lot and would love to meet others from here along the way. We live in the Southeast US and would also love to hear about places to go and camp.

Regards,

John

Welcome John from a fellow Jayco owner. We have a 2019 JayFeather 27RL and I'm pulling it with an ole Gen 2 Dodge Cummins 2500.
Can hardly even tell it's behind us.

With a F350 SRW, I'm sure you will get comfortable towing that trailer in a hurry. It will be a piece of cake for ya man.

You might also check out one of the sister sites that's a Jayco specific forum:

https://www.jaycoowners.com/forums/

You will probably get more direct information for Jayco's on there.
