Remodel need adhesive advice

Hello, i need some help with a remodel i want to do. I didnt see a section for remodels so since im new to this forum i posted here. i hope its correct , if not please let me know and ill repost to the correct section.

Ill be getting my jayco pinnacle 38flsa in a couple weeks and i want to do an upgrade to the interior walls. I was initially looking at a jayco designer which has much more wood ( which is what i like) but i couldnt justify the price. The pinnacle is the same layout it just doesnt have as much wood in it. Im a carpenter and am very comfortable working with wood and trim. my concern is how to adhere luan to an exterior rv wall without causing moisture buildup between the layers. i definitely dont want to cause mold growth there.

heres a pic of the existing dining nook...

heres a pic of the designer nook with stained cherry luan on the walls with chair rail. the 2nd pic is of a slide with the same luan side walls.

Getting the wood and luan cut to fit wont be an issue. Its the adhesive part im thinking of. i want to make sure i have a uniform solid bond with no pockets for moister to accumulate in. the temperature difference from a cold exterior to the warm interior has me thinking contact cement would be best but i would like a few seconds of working time to get the panel set just right before i roll and set it. contact cement...once it touches its done ,set, no retries lol...im i thinking about this correctly? is contact cement my only option? has anyone tried this before? any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you and ill get a thread going when i start this one

Welcome to the forum. I use Heavy Duty Loctite Power Grab exterior construction adhesive in our motorhome when I'm changing things around. I have used it to add shelves where there were few studs, if any, and after a few years no problems. Easy to use and moisture resistant. I buy it at Menard's but I think it's available at most building supply stores.
