RV baggage door latch help

I got some stainless door latches to install on the compartments. Has anyone installed latches on the doors to hold them open? If so Where and how to put on without drilling any holes? Not sure where I should mont them on top or on the side, corner? Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thinking of using some type of double sided tape to mount with. Not sure what I should use?

Here is a very simple and inexpensive way to keep the doors open that I use. It does not require modification to the coach.
