Satellite cable location

I just bought a 2023 Jayco precept 36c. I'm trying to hook up my Dish antenna. I don't know the roof location to hook tip the Dish coax. I see in one of the cabinets there is a Satellite in connector. But, where on the roof is the other end of the coax? Thanks

Do you have photos of your roof? It should be about 5 feet forward of the aft HVAC.

On 2018 Eagle, I asked Jayco CS that ?? - No wiring and they said that they don't recommend roof mount satellite mounting, which I thought was odd.
Also by roof mounting, you are limited to the direction or tree cover if any. So I just connect 25ft cable to exterior connection and place my Dish Playmaker in clear view of southern sky.

Jayco should be able to supply you with that info/wiring diagrams etc. I would suggest you call Jayco Motorized Division or if you bought from a dealer and they have a good service dept they may have experience/knowledge of your specific unit. I used to have Directv at home and used a winegard portable in the rv with 2 older standard def receivers. Then we got fiber optic 100mbs internet service at home and changed to Directv streaming with pretty much the same programming and was almost half of what we were paying for the satellite version with 4 HD receivers DVR's etc. Picked up Roku express 4k devices for the non smart tv's we had for around $25 each including the 2 tv's in the MH. We have 50gb hotspot per month on each our two ATT phones, plus a Travlfi hotspot that can connect to ATT, T-Mobile, or Verizon via a "virtual sim". You have to purchase the amount of data you think you will use for the time you travel, or if a full timer they have an unlimited plan on a monthly subscription. I do have to make sure I will have good cell coverage at the campground when planning trips, but I don't have to worry about a clear view for the satellite, plus I have the same programming (like at home) including my local channels, Netflilx and Prime.

Dish antenna

I got myself up a ladder to the top and could not find any type of location for a dish coax. Anyway I didn't like getting back down the ladder. So I had Johnson RV do the job cheeper than me going to the Hospital. Now I have. Wally to think about. Not sure I like it any better than the old system from Dish. Too much monkey business. I'll get used to it as time goes by. Now I find I need an additional hard drive to record. Got that but haven't activate it yet.

The OP was referring to a roof mounted satellite. Most MH's are "sat prepped" by having two coax cables under the roof in a specified location, with the other ends entering the cabin in a specified location as well. In my Precept 36A, there is a plate labeled roof sat, with 2 coax connections labeled LNB1 & LNB2, on the wall near the OTA connection box, which in my MH is behind the living room swing out TV (don't know where it would be on a 36C, 34G etc). The problem is knowing for sure where the other ends are before cutting into the roof, i.e the need for schematic/diagrams and then hoping the installer followed them. The sat connection in the wet bay is used for a portable satellite. I used to do this before I switched over to streaming. I remember having to remove the plate covering the OTA connection box to find the other end of the wet bay coax and I even had to put a connector on it. Also, warning...there is no guarantee that any of the cables have been installed correctly as I have read several posts to the contrary, especially the wet bay sat/cable connections being reversed or not connected at all.
