Seneca Kodiak electrical puzzle

1st gen Kodiak owners: wiring puzzle…..

When our Seneca came back from service, the steps and jacks weren’t working.

I don’t believe the problem is with either; I’ve connected the steps to another power source and they work fine.

I believe there is a power issue somewhere between the chassis batteries and those two items, but for the life of me I can’t find it.

I have checked every fuse and circuit breaker that I can find under the hood, under the dash, in the coach, and inline.

The wiring diagram shows power coming from the chassis batteries through an ANL fuse “located in the battery tray” to an insulator stud in the coach battery compartment and then out to the steps, jacks, etc. There is no power at that isolated stud.

Where would I find this ANL fuse? If anyone has a photo that would be awesome, even more awesome if it’s of the same model Seneca.

On our Alante there is a inline fuse on the bottom of the steps, where the wires go to the motor.
