Seneca Wind Noise

2019 Seneca 37K. The wind noise in the cab is horrible over 55 mph. Anyone have any fixes for this? I’m thinking its turbulence from the overhead. No actual leaks, just a lot of howling.

A pic of the rig would help greatly, specially the area under discussion from several angles!

Howling or whistle would indicate air incursion or excursion. Rushing sounds all around would probably outside noise infiltrating from the wind etc. Load a sound meter application on your phone or buy a db meter and move it around the rig while someone else is driving or you are parked in a very very windy location and sniff out the noise source! Use extreme caution if you are untethered and moving around the unit while in motion! Or best is take it back to the manufacturer for a fix.

I get all my rigs undercoated and generally it reduces the noise level inside by a huge margin while also adding some sound proofing and insulation qualities.

My rig has the same cab as yours. I had good results adding sound deadening (butyl rubber mats plus a layer of open-cell acoustic foam) to the underside of the dashboard. The big horizontal plastic piece that goes up to the windshield. It made a huge difference, which I was not expecting. I also stuffed fiberglass insulation in the cavities between the cab-over bunk and the cab roofline and that helped some.

Funny, we test drove an Accolade in Phoenix last fall, it had a terrible whistling sound from the wind at freeway speeds. Luckily the one we got does not make any outside wind noise. Similar cab and overhead shape.
