2019 Jayco class c can you change settings while water is on? or do you turn water off to relieve water pressure prior to change settings

I see no reason to turn the water off.

If you are asking about CITY to FILL positions then yes turn water off before swapping otherwise you can dislodge the O-rings in the diverter valve

I guess I have been lucky so far. I never turn the water off when switching. But then I never use city water pressure. I just fill my freshwater tank and run my pump. That way I can tell if there's a leak anywhere. I can hear my pump running. If it gives a little burp now and then, there's a leak somewhere.
