I have had both and I prefer Aluminum and glass sides. IMO
Wood is glue and staples. Wood absorbs water and when the two get together causes dry rot and mildue.
Aluminum is welded and makes a stronger frame. Aluminum siding is stapled to wood framework. Wood frame RVs are more easily damaged compared to welded square aluminum framework.
