'01 Holiday Rambler Hydraulic Fluid Reservoir?

Hello all,

I am having difficulty locating the hydro fluid reservoir on my coach. Its a 2001 HR Endeavor and I have a drivers side swing up and swing out cooling van that is in a compartment just behind the drivers side rear tire. In there is the PowerGear fluid reservoir as well as a spin on fuel water separator. I found a black metal cylinder in there that has a cap with dip-stick on it. The dipstick is dry. Could this be my hydro fluid reservoir? If so, where would the "internal" filters be located, since this component does not look to one that can be opened to expose filters? Below is a picture.

Looks like it some sort of reservoir but mine is much bigger ~4 gallons.

Try tracing your supply line to the pump, usually the filter will be on the supply side to protect the pump and system.

That cap looks like the right cap, but not sure your tank is much diffrent.

Don't forget to put your cap on.

I would check the owners manual. It's going to be in the owners chassis or holiday rambler manual. It will also define the oil to use

Take a look at this thread. Post #4 shows a picture of the reservoir

That reservoir is substantially smaller then mine, mine is ~4 gallons and holds 3 stacked filters in side.

This is the only reservoir I can locate that has some type of dipstick with a full / low indication.

Is there an inline filter somewhere?
If not there may be a filter in the tank!
