01 Scepter solar panel inverter

My 2001 Scepter has a factory installed solar panel, but the info in the owner's manual is very limited. I can't find an inverter for it anywhere. Is it possible it runs through the main inverter ?

A solar panel is a battery charging device.

If it is a large panel, ( 50 watts or more ) it would be connected to a solar controller. Some small panel don't use controllers but go directly to the batteries.

If there is a controller it would be connected to the batteries.

It really has nothing to do with an inverter.

Inverters invert ( convert ) 12 volt DC battery power to 120 volt AC, home electricity.

Do you have one of these in your coach, this is what I have for a controller. My coach came with a 85 watt panel and the PO installed 2 Kyocera 125 watt panels. In the back passenger side electrical compartment there are 2 fuses for the solar charging.

Jim, don't know the panel but in my coach there is a small control box that says solar controller in the compartment where all the 12 volt catastrophe fuses are located along with the battery isolator. The panel will likely not care what type of small charger is attached.
